A neat idea for my course would be to create a database of links to news articles that relate to the course topics. This would enrich and update the course material. Physics is always progressing and new topics that aren’t covered in the text book are always arising.

I could also encourage the students to add any articles they find in the course forums so that they could post links to articles they find interesting.

For example, on Facebook this past week there were articles about an asteroid that was supposedly going to hit the earth. This would relate to my course’s discussion of asteroids and orbits and would be very relatable for the students.
